The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

This classic American sports car is a Corvette which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 1978, a year that also marked the first stylistic reworking since the appearance of the Stingray ten years ago.
